Felt bad for Sandman in Marvel’s Spider-Man is probably one of the most sympathetic and understandable takes of a villain. But comic-wise. But in the MSM, a variety of sandman daughter that's alive and healthy, she turns into a villain. Believe she could be reformed if she met the right person to help her through.
SandGirl was actually a good concept and it Shame the series never really went anywhere with her. Wasted potential. Instead she acts like a spoiled demanding brat. Keemia is mad that her father is working for a gangster against his will, so when she gets sand powers...She immediately murders her father, who was only trying to provide for her, and works for the same gangster he was working for? What could have been a really interesting and fascinating character was just a generic villain that has nothing really unique or special about her. Was hoping the writers and showrunner’s did with something Keemia like similar to Annie (The daughter of Clayface.) from Batman the Animated Series, Terra from Teen Titans, Kevin Levin (Ben 10), Catra, (She-Ra), Razer (Green Lantern: The Animated Series), Slash (TMNT 2012), Gaara (Naruto) or Ashi (Samurai Jack).

SpiderMan/Peter Parker-Bisexual
(Sidenote: Reason wanted Peter be bisexual is that ossibility because Marvel have hinted over Peter sexuality attraction over years hints that his isn’t completely straight. Sony did have a plan to give SpiderMan a boyfriend, Andrew Garfield wanted the same thing and the DC outcome made Tim Drake as bis. Only time then Marvel announced SpiderMan is bisexual would shock and divide majorly of fans)

Season 2 Episode 16 “Critical Update” we seem Sandgirl different clothing wearing darker blue jacket (guest is Navy?) and red shirt and beanie (mahogany), she kept remaining me mix between Catra & Janna . First two Season Peter wear bit lighter red hoodie and third season his changing wearing blue hoodie. This coincidence they slightly wear same color schemes clothing? . Maybe but something writers hinting or little foreshadowing for next season (if season four happened)? Maybe as if this two will eventually meet. Peter met Sandgirl (not as SpiderMan). Now this from my a fan Headcanon idea to a possibility if season four when got announced from a year or two of hiatus.
A episode like to seem that Peter met Keemia both seemed first time like at anywhere or Peter uncover join the her new gang with Keemia looking for new recruits. When the two met (Without Sandgirl acknowledging that Peter Is SpiderMan) at first Keemia didn’t seem like Peter that much soon eventually Keemia kindly developed grow likely to Peter and she ask him wanting to "hang out" (like a date) like anytime.
Mentioned this once or multiple before. When Peter convince Keemia it not too late changing her life around a future for herself with help of his friends and use her sand powers for good for helped people. Honestly this seem make a good episode with revealed Sandgirl relationship with her father before turning life of all supervillains and even hinted she may have feelings for Peter. A boy she met and wanting offered a second in life this could be Keemia It really seem sweet start of new relationship from one of SpiderMan foes he have fought only three times.
Believe writers took inspiration from SpiderMan 3 (2007 film) and several comics about Sandman as character to do they research to use information to fleshed out Sandgirl character. Hope Keemia Marko make a return in season four with more screen time and developing growth for her character if marvel SpiderMan get renewed.
Keemia Marko, aka Sandgirl.
She's replacing Sandman on the show's villain roster. Origin: She's Sandman's angsty teenage daughter who resents her dad for being a criminal, gets sand powers, and winds up becoming a supervillain. Not pictured: creepy facial scar made of sand over her right eye because AAAANGST.
I know a lot of purists will say otherwise, but I thought this was a cool idea. You get to diversify the cast, tell stories you couldn't tell with a traditional Sandman, and you've got a Princess Zuko to act as a unique foil for Spidey. And as character hooks go, "I swore I'd never become my father but I sort of became him anyway" is pretty solid.
Except they kind of use her in the dumbest way possible.
1. Her dad gets the bulk of the screentime in her introductory episode. She only comes in near the ending, where she gives this awkward, super-detailed exposition dump on who she is that only highlights that she should have been the focus from the start. It feels like the showrunners only saw her as an accessory to Sandman, rather than a character in her own right.
2. They set her up as this Kylo Ren-esque character, which might have worked if the execution had made any sense. "Dad! I hate you because you work for the mob! That's why I adopted this mob boss as my new dad! Because he's the same mob boss you worked for and he gave me the superpowers I hate so much!"
The show's still got time to salvage her. But right now, Keemia feels like a missed opportunity. Hope season 4 can improve her character.
Also, she's Sandgirl and not Sandwoman. I admit that's nitpicking, but there's a reason we call the teenage boy Spider-Man. It emphasizes who he's trying to be.
Keemia had so some bit of potential for a reform character but the writers clearly don’t seem to care about her or exploring any villains personal backstory (expect Otto). She could have had a short redeemed arc and become one of Spider Man’s allies (and maybe possibly developing feelings for Peter Parker) instead of one of the other Spider heroes.
Looking back at Season 2 Episode “Critical Update” we seem Sandgirl different clothing wearing darker blue jacket (guest is Navy?) and red shirt and beanie (mahogany). Season two Peter wear bit lighter Red Hoodie and second and third season his changing wearing blue hoodie both. Coincidence they slightly wear same color schemes clothing? Yeah. Maybe but something writers hinting or little foreshadowing for next season (if season four be announced) ? Maybe as if this two will eventually meet. Peter met Sandgirl (not as SpiderMan). Now if season four when got announced from a year of hiatus this how this two meet.
A episode when Peter met Keemia both seemed first time like at anywhere or Peter uncover join the gang with Keemia looking for new recruits (Peter Parker gone undercover). When the two met (this time without Sandgirl knowing that Peter Isn’t SpiderMan) at first Keemia didn’t seem like Peter. Not criminal type but she appreciate Peter great intellect and put off plans/heist (As being mole in the gang. Call in the team to show on scene). With scene Sandgirl followed Peter Parker at him home and speak into his bedroom to taking look at his little life. Keemia everything she wish she could have before becoming Sandgirl. Peter and Keemia have a moment (with awkward, scary and bit funny) with Sandgirl brought up about her father and things she done since got this powers. Keemia ask Peter to leave her crew to not get hurt or seem something bad happens to him.
That much soon eventually Keemia kindly developed grow likely to Peter and she ask him wanting to "hang out" (like a date) like anytime. Mentioned this once or multiple before. When Peter convince Keemia it not too late changing her life around a future for herself with help of his friends and use her sand powers for good for helped people.
