One of many criticisms about Marvel Spider-Man there disappointed and bland one-dimensional villains without depth and interesting things about them. Hobgoblin is an example. They turn one of Spider-Man's foes into a good guy. Didn’t say they ruined this character or Harry. Like an idea Harry became a hero and rejected his father's influence and used his intelligence and gift to own gains of interest. But like everyone else about that concept it is good but could be better like an evil version of the Hobgoblin. No idea that Harry turned evil (less if he was mind controlled and turned into the giant orange creature gaining super strength and pyrokinesis power) and fought his close friends. No like what if another person took up Hobgoblin name and acted as villainously that series should have begun with. Fans would slightly be happy with it.
Here a third installation to The Hobgoblin and Goblin War. In “Goblin Saga” that I could call. This third goblin story is called “Hobgoblins Lives” arc. This arc where there someone imposing as Hobgoblins with different color changes (like having red eyes and different color spandex skin suits that recognize more of comic tradition version of comic variation). This is a three-part story arc is filled with twists, secrets and lightly trust issues with his friends and teammates. Introducing a few new characters that serve the story and play minor roles and main villain not as the biggest threat but deliver that fans want from any version of hobgoblin in Spider-Man media not since TAS but more modern and freakin 'take on this well known Spider-Man villain with motivation that kept you’re interested. Came up with a third title like you’re thinking of an episode for them.
Sidenote: This hinting at introducing a new Spider-Person and joining The Spider-Team became the newest 5th member of the team (Scarlet-Spider didn’t come to court since chronology with Spider-Man and his team appeared in order). In the end goblin saga is settled-up new villains and storylines arc awhile between a new adventure and personal conflicts that Spider-Man and friends will face in their lives.
A Tale of Two Goblins
Spider-Man and Spider-Team get reports from Captain Watanabe about recent crimes,stealing shipments and attacks from this mystery individual who resembles a Hobgoblin (Harry Osborn). Thought it was Adrian Toomes or Norman Osborn are likely suspects (but can’t be either the two. Toomes hasn't seen Scarlet Spider since Vulture and Vulturions was taken down. Manhunt for Norman led a cold track, the authority haven’t found anything about Norman whereabouts). Peter didn’t believe wasn’t his best friend did just a thing, trying to get answers from Harry about this and then Spider-Team worked with Prowler, Cloak and Dagger to search for this fake Hobgoblin and clear one of Peter's close friend’s/leader also something discovered the second hobgoblin.
Meanwhile a subplot Peter walks-in with one of old classmates from his times at Horizon High. Now attending Midtown High with Peter and Gwen (expecting Miles and Anya they went to different schools after Maximum Venom). She has a chat with Peter about what has been up recently and Moon acting strange, like she is hiding. Awhile Peter and Cindy are being hunted by robotic versions of goblins that have been sent by Hobgoblin (Doesn’t know that Spider-Man and Peter are the same person. Does know Harry is Hobgoblin).
Truth of the Hobgoblin
Spider-Man and Hobgoblin have excused their plan to stop the second Hobgoblin. But False Hobgoblins have an escape with aid by Goblin Robo Warriors (built by Alistair Smythe who supplied the false hobgoblin. After being paralyze by the traitor). A while beyond their discovering a file containing the creation of the Hobgoblin. Hidden within the Osborn archive. Norman didn’t create the Hobgoblin suit, it was created by the name Roderick Kingsley. Spider-Team and Hob-Heroes are working together tracking down this Kingsley. Rest of the heroes are searching for the second Hobgoblin, what is his (or her) connection with Osborn and Kingsley?
The law enforcement issue a warrant to investigate the recently attempted attack by the imposter who took-up the Hobgoblin. NYPD is working-with one of S.H.I.E.L.D agents codename “Mockingbird” sent by the avengers to take in Hobgoblin (believe it one of Peter's close friends) for custody.
Somebody Else
Rescuing Kingsley after being kidnapped by the false Hobgoblin. Spider-Man and the Hobgoblin team put a stop to False Hobgoblin's plan. With Intel from Mockingbird. Second Hobgoblin to use Goblin Robo Warriors for they make their. Heroes move quickly to stop Fake Hobgoblin and his Goblin Robo Warriors before he makes his plan. Not before known the true identity of this imposter and what he tied with Norman to lead this hatred towards his son and Osborn. Spider-Man and Carolyn digging through hidden files by Norman holds truths that connected led to a journalist at The Daily Bugle.
