Horizon

In Web of Venom the school was more likely handed over to Curt Connors after he revealed that Max Modell was secretly working on the V-252 symbiotic and Max lost his laboratory as a result.

In Generations after revealing that it was Norman Osborn's plan to have Max Modell removed from school so he could use Max's research on the synthetic-Symbiote to make himself more powerful Peter Miles Anya and Gwen were able to get Max his job back as principal of Horizon

However the school would have end up destroyed during the battle against Venom the Symbiotic Sisters and the World Killer in Maximum Venom (episode).Peter promised Max that would help him rebuild the school and that he knew everyone else would too. However Max wanted to leave Horizon in the past' remembering Peter's words and saving that they should find other ways to continue Horizon's spirit.

History

Horizon High is a school created by Max Modell for young geniuses.

There are several students that study at Horizon and each have their own individual labs. The labs are equipped with the best and most advanced scientific equipment and everyone a lot of freedom to create whatever they want.

Peter Parker has recently ingresses at Horizon, where he took advantage of the equipment to perfect his costume.

Raymond Warren tried to apply for a teaching position here, but was rejected.

It participated in the Stark Expo.

The Hallways

Like any other school, the hallways have lockers. However, these dark orange lockers are high tech and open only for whoever uses those lockers.

Max Modell's Office

This is where Max Modell does his work such as research and overseeing school activities.

Classrooms

There are many learning facilities in Horizon High. The one that is considered the hardest is the classroom taught by Otto Octavius.

Peter Parker's Lab

This lab was once occupied by Harry Osborn until his suspension from Horizon High. It is now occupied by Peter Parker, who used it to create his Spider Gadgets and Web-Shooters.

Miles Morales's Lab

This is the lab Miles Morales occupies.

Science Lab

This is were most of the students do their experiments and create their inventions. Gwen Stacy and Anya Corazon are usually here. On certain occasions, it is converted into a space for celebrating. One example is a dance to celebrate Harry Osborn almost returning to Horizon High. Another example is a Halloween party.

• If looking at the various background characters as individuals, many students from Midtown High transferred to Horizon alongside Peter during season 1 and season 2.
• It's possible that Horizon is located in the Upper West Side section of Manhattan, given that it was revealed to be near New York's Central Park in Drive My Carnage.
• The school has a baseball team called the Horizon High Circuit Breakers.
  • Peter was unaware of this because he has never read the school's brochure (which he has also never heard of).

• Mary Jane considers the school "weird" and "a mess" after finding out about it's history with supervillain attacks.
• Ever since the series premiered, Horizon High has been the subject of criticism with long-time Spider-Man fans claiming that Peter going to a school where everyone is a genius has ruined the original themes of the Spider-Man brand such as Peter's everyman quality, that the supporting cast lacks distinct personalities and backgrounds, and because it feels like the entire show revolves around the school.
