Gwendolyne "Gwen" Stacy (also known by her superhero persona Ghost-Spider as of currently) is one of the protagonists of the 2017 Marvel's Spider-Man series. She is a student at Horizon High and a classmate/friend of Peter Parker, the best friend of Anya Corazon, a friend of Miles Morales, a former student of Doctor Otto Octavious and the niece of Professor Raymond Warren who is also the super-villain Jackal. She is also the daughter of Police Captain George Stacy. When helping Spider-Man fight crime, she went by the name Spider-Gwen once she was affected by The Jackal's virus. Later on, she turned into Spider-Monster and was cured but as of the second season, she changed her name to Ghost-Spider after her powers are restored by the blood gem.

After Harry Osborn was cleared of charges, a party was thrown for him which only ended with him choosing to attend Osborn Academy. Then, Aleksei Sytsevich mutated into a human-rhino hybrid. After scanning Aleksei's blood, they discovered that it was done by Doctor Raymond Warren. Gwen goes to his house to confront him, there she discovers that Raymond is actually the Jackal.
When she found out, he tried to harm her until Spider-Man came and defeated him and cured Aleksei.
Gwen felt upset that her uncle was a criminal as he was the one who got her into science. Peter comforts her by telling her about his uncle.

Becoming Spider-Gwen and Spider-Island Arc[]
Gwen develops spider powers in the Spider Island arc after being exposed to Jackal's chemicals and uses them to become Spider-Gwen. Unlike previous versions, she doesn't wear a mask to conceal her identity (though she does wear the same costume) and her friends and admirers call her "Spider-Gwen" rather than Spider-Woman. However, just like the Spider Island event in the comics, Gwen and the other infected New Yorkers later mutate into giant monstrous spiders. She is later cured in the climax of the story.
As Ghost-Spider []
In "The Day Without Spider-Man" she regains her powers thanks to exposure to a crystal called the Bloodgem and becomes Ghost-Spider during the fight against Scorpion and Tinkerer. She even decides to wear a mask after becoming Ghost-Spider.
Peter's Superhero Persona[]
After Peter reveals himself to be Spider-Man before the school board due to pressure from Curt Connors, Gwen was quite upset with Peter for sharing his identity with her after obtaining his powers, it was not until they fought in the League of Monsters that she arrived at Perfonar. to Peter when She understood that, like her and Anya, he wanted to protect them.
After discovering that Norman Osborn was behind everything that happened with Max and the release of Venom, as well as how to manipulate the students or make him become the Dark Goblin,
She had to face Her Uncle Raymond Warren, the guide to his former house where using a synthetic symbiote he damaged her in order to turn her into a Jackal, without Emabegi Miles saved her at the last moment and with the help of OAS they managed to reverse the machine to defeat Norman, and reestablish Max's reputation.
Maximum Venom[]
After what happened with Norman, Gwen, Miles, Anya and Peter organized a dance for Max however a call from Grady about being attacked for hearing something strange made him think that the Lizard had returned, however it was discovered that it was Venom who disappeared after They chased him, it was not until the dance that it was revealed that Venom had been parasitic in Max's body, controlling him and influencing his actions since the invasion. Gwen, along with the rest of the spider team, fought against Venom's sisters and the World Killer.
a symbiote dragon brought to earth thanks to Venom's seed and the portal that it forced Max to build. After the destruction of Venom and the destruction of our allies, Gwen was contacted by Peter to open a new investigation which he named The Worldwide Engineering Brigade or abreviated W.E.B .

Gwen is a light skinned teenage girl with a thin/athletic body figure. She has shoulder length, pale blonde hair tied up in a bun with an pink hair piece, without the hair piece or tied into a ponytail with a blue hair tie. She usually has these hairstyles. She also has blue eyes.
Civilian Attire[]
Throughout Season 1, Gwen's wears a long sleeved pink denim jacket, an aqua shirt underneath, reddish-purple baggy sweatpants and light colored shoes.
In the "Sandman" episode, Gwen wore a black shirt, long length maroon colored scarf, lavender jeans, dark gray shoes and a circular gold bracelet on her left wrist.
At a Dance, she first wears a pink dress in "Animal Party". Later in "Maximum Venom", she wears a black dress and with pink waist band.
In Season 2, she wears a hoodie with two shades of blue, a short sleeved pink shirt underneath, bluish-green jeans with rolled up ends, tied in a gray buckle black belt, short length gray boots and a black headband.
in Season 3, she wears a black and white colored jacket with long sleeves, an entirely white t-shirt and light blue jeans. The inside of her jacket is pink, mostly making her outfit reflect her Ghost-Spider costume.

As Spider-Gwen, she wears a hooded spandex suit that's white from head to waist, black from the waist down.
Inside the hoodie and under her arms, is pink coloring with a green web pattern. She also keeps her hair in a ponytail.

Once becoming Ghost-Spider, she wears a mask to go along with her outfit, and web-wings to help with her ability to glide at will.
She looks the same as when her superhero costume in her original has white hood dark pink spots where it has light blue spider webs in it turquoise pair of ballerina shoes and with her middle part her body all the way to the bottom coloured as black .
Personality[]
Gwen appears to be smart and a bit sassy, but is self-confident, good-hearted and very intelligent as well. Even knowledgeable enough to know how to defeat the Jackal, and come up with an anti-mutagen to cure her classmate Aleksei. Gwen also tends to get upset about certain matters, such as her uncle being the Jackal since she formed a good relationship with him.
Peter and Gwen reminding Miles that they're not only friends and a team but like a family too
Peter and Gwen didn't get along well at first. Gwen first met Peter while he was Spider-Man when he was fighting the Jackal. She was lecturing him on how to fight the Jackal. Later on, Gwen meets him again as himself, and they were getting to know each other well. Later, when the Jackal turned out to be her uncle, Raymond Warren, Gwen trusted in Peter as Peter told her about Uncle Ben. And a great important friend. Then having a touching moment.
In Spider-Man Unmasked, Gwen and Anya discover that Peter is Spider-Man. Initially, they are hurt by the fact that Peter shared his secret identity with Miles and Max, but not them despite being his best friends as well. During the fight in the Underground Monster League the girls made up with Peter as both sides only wanted to protect each other in the end.
Gwen view her Uncle Raymond as her hero having gotten her
Raymond is Gwen's uncle on her mother's side of the family. Gwen loved her uncle and Raymond was the one who got Gwen interested in science and even helped her with her first science project. When she found out that her uncle is the Jackal, she was shocked and heartbroken.
In Generations, when Peter and Gwen discovered Jackal's new secret lair, Gwen as Ghost-Spider tried to reason with Jackal that he needed to be with his family that he needed help. However, Jackal stated that Raymond Warren was gone and that he has truly embraced being the Jackal.
It is later revealed that Jackal was cooperating with Norman Osborn, and that he knew Gwen was Ghost-Spider. Jackal's reasons for allying himself with Norman were only to confront Gwen. He lured her to his old house and used a synthetic-symbiote to restrain her. Despite Gwen's pleas and explaining how their family felt about being a super villain Jackal didn't care. He only wanted to turn Gwen into the Jackal like himself. This plan failed as Miles Morales showed up out of spider-camouflage and knocked Jackal out with his electro-sting Venom Punch.
After Norman Osborn's defeat, Gwen revealed that she was in relief that her uncle was finally in prison for real this time.
And she realised her uncle is not worth it and she's now done with him since he will always be a villain.
Despite being annoyed by his antics at times, Miles is another of Gwen's best friends. Gwen has known Miles just as long as she knows Anya as the three enrolled into Horizon during the same time frame. When Miles revealed his powers to her, Anya and Gwen was interested in how Miles suddenly developed the superhuman abilities and felt enthusiastic about the possibility of herself and Anya developing powers. Nevertheless, she and Anya would develop powers later on. During Spider-Man's mysterious absence, Miles trained Gwen alongside Anya when he was the only veteran Spider-Man to do so. It is possible that Miles' training influenced her to wear a mask with her new identity as Ghost-Spider.
In Spider-Man Unmasked, she and Anya were surprised when Peter removed his mask and that he was Spider-Man, they get mad at Miles for knowing that Peter was Spider-Man all along and never even told them. They were disappointed for not trusting the two girls when it came to keeping his superhero identity a secret.
Anya is Gwen's best friend and the two have a sister-like friendship and bond.
The two seen together often and were building their Horizon High project for the open house together. They would have shared any of the profits made from it together.
Gwen and Harry are good friends. During Spider-Island Part 1, Gwen telling Harry that his hatred of Spider-Man blinded him from seeing how hard he was trying to save his father helped Harry fix his relationship with Peter.
At some point, Gwen and Aunt May have gotten along well. May has even called Gwen a good friend for bringing Peter his schoolwork after leaving Horizon to get some rest.
Out of the other students at Horizon, Gwen believed Otto to be a good man and a great teacher.
At the end of the Goblin Wars, Gwen was among the people to show up at Otto's funeral saying that she was proud of him for attempting to turn his life around.
Gwen met Grady sometime after returning from college tours. After saving him from being trampled by a Human-Rhino in Spider-Man Unmasked, Grady developed a crush on Gwen admiring her bravery.
In Maximum Venom, Grady realised he does have a crush on Gwen when setting up banners for the dance. Grady asks Gwen to be his date by sending her a letter with his helper robot due to his shyness. Gwen accepts his invitation with a coy smile.

Spider Physiology: Gwen possesses the proportionate powers of a spider given to her after being exposed to a gas from the explosion of Raymond Warren's genetically-enhanced spider experiments and then having her powers reawakened by the blood gem as a result, she received offshoot powers of Spider-Man's with the addiction of organic web-shooters and the lack of a spider-sense.
Wall-Crawling: Gwen exposure to the spider-virus induced a mutagenic cerebellum-wide alteration of her engrams resulting in the ability to mentally control the flux of interatomic attraction (electrostatic force) between molecular boundary layers. This overcomes the outer electro shell's normal behaviour of of mutual repulsion with other outer electron shells and permits the tremendous potential foe electron attraction to prevail. The mentally controlled sub-atomic particle responsible for this has yet to be identified This ability to affect the attraction between surfaces is so far limited to Gwen's body (especially concentrated in her hand and feet) and another object with an upper limit of several tons per finger.

Superhuman Agility: Gewn's agility balance and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are far beetle nature physics limits of the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Equilibrium and Balance: Gwen possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. She seems able to adjust her position by instinct which enables her to balance herself on virtually any object no matter how small or narrow.
Superhuman Reflexes: Gwen's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are possibly about 40 times greater than those an of an ordinary human in combination with her spider-sense the speed of her reflexes allows her to dodge almost any attack even gun fire (if far enough).
Superhuman Stamina:
Organic Web-Shooters: After gaining powers from the Spider-Island virus and regaining them from the blood gem, Gwen gained the ability to shoot her own webbings from glands on her wrist. She shares this trait with Anya.
Self-Propelled Glide: After the blood gem reawakened her spider powers, Gwen also gained the ability to glide through air. As seen in Goblin War Part 4, Gwen is capable of gliding even while carrying people as seen with how she carried Spider-Girl on her back and held Spider-Man by his wrist while trying to manoeuvre the Goblin Mech.

Genius Intellect: Gwen possesses a great intellect. Enough to calculate how to defeat a supervllain and come up with a formula to cure a mutation.
Web Swinging: Due to her spider genetics, Gwen is able to swing across long distances with web fluid.
Fighting Skills: She is capable of doing affective combat moves and fights with these said moves against villains.

Gwen appeared to be living with her uncle, until it was discovered he was the Jackal.
Gwen's voice actress, Laura Bailey, had previously voiced Gwen in the 2014 mobile game Spider-Man Unlimited, she had also done the voice for Spider-Girl (Mayday Parker) and Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) in the same game.
Bailey also voices Black Widow in this series, and had voiced the character in the sister series Avengers Assemble.
In the comics, Gwen was a longtime love interest and girlfriend to Spider-Man, and is often considered to be his first true love.
