  • Jefferson Davis is the father of Miles Morales. His first in the episode Ultimate Spider-Man and he was revealed to be the villain Swarm in Generation

History[]

Some bullies were picking on Miles outside his home when Jefferson came and stopped them. Miles wished he could have fought back but Jefferson told him there are other ways to deal with bullies. Later, when their neighborhood was attacked by Spencer and Alistair Smythe, Miles, as the new Spider-Man, saved Jefferson who told him that he wishes that his son could meet him, not knowing that the new Spider-Man and Miles were the same person.

He returns in Spider-Man Unmasked, under the name of Swarm. While investigating about Aleksei's whereabouts, Spidey learns that he was turned into Rhino again and decides to follow him, only to find Swarm, who attempts to turn him into a spider monster.

Later in Generations

Appearance[]

Jefferson is bald with brown eyes and a grey beard and moustache.

As Swarm, he wears a purple-black-grey full-body armor with a worn out cloak that partially covers his torso. His helmet has yellow bee-like eyes with yellow geometrical lines on his face.

Personality[]

Jefferson is a kind and supportive father towards Miles.

In Generations, it is revealed that Jefferson is Swarm, a bee-themed supervillain who ran the [[Underground Monster League]]. He was shown to be an enthusiastic individual, often singing while the competitors fought. However, deep down he hated the fact that he had to hurt people and decided to become a supervillain in order to protect his family by eliminating Spy-D, whom he held a grudge against due to his battle against the Spider Slayers (which almost made him lose his job and his home was almost destroyed) and due to the fact that his son Miles is constantly gets caught in the superhero's crossfire.

Jefferson and Miles have a close relationship. Jefferson gives his son good advice. He even told the new Spider-Man that he wishes his son could meet him, not knowing that the new Spider-Man is Miles.

However it is revealed In Generations, that Jefferson Davis actually loathed Spy-D when Spencer and Alistair attacked his neighbour in order to capture him. to Surprise Jefferson was actually the supervillain Swarm having accepted Norman's Offer to transform himself into the villain to Take Down Spy-D revealed himself to be his son Miles Morales Jefferson fled To Miles he is shown to have a grudge against Spy-D, as his son was caught in his crossfire. After learning that he was attempting to hurt his own son, he gets shocked and cries, ultimately decididing to escape before Miles could help him.

When meeting Spider-Man for the first time Swarm wanted to transform him into a Spider-Monster for his Underground Monster League citing that his viewers would pay a large amount of money to see a Spider-Monster in the ring.

  • This is the First full animated appearance of Jefferson Davis.
  • Jefferson's voice actor, Alex Desert, did the voice of Nick Fury on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
  • His relation to Miles is similar to his brother Aaron in original comic continuity, such as being initially super-villains upon finding out they attempt to kill Miles, abandoning their villainous ways.
