Mania is one of the three Symbiote Sisters and one of the four original Klyntar created by Knull. She debuted in Maximum Venom.
History[]
Early years[]
Along with Scream, Scorn and All-Black, Mania was created by Knull during his crusade against the Celestials. Using them as weapons, he succeded and the Symbiotes wished to continue serving him, although he had no use for them anymore. Refusing to let go of their creator, Knull used flames to violently tear apart the Symbiotes from his body, later on abandoning his creations and returning to the void from where he came from.
Feeling betrayed and alone, the Symbiotes stuck together and remained on the asteroid in which they were created until an alien explorer found them and willingly accepted them. She takes them to her homeplanet, and Mania, Scream and Scorn bond with other female hosts. The Symbiotes start to replicate and bond with other members of the species, forming a true symbiotic relationship and living in peace for some time. However, an elder tells his race that the creatures were ruining ther identity and culture, which angers All-Black, who decides to confront him. She is killed by the elder, causing Mania, Scream and Scorn to go on a rampage and slaughter innocent lives, eventually taking over the planet and renaming it as "Klyntar" - meaning cage on Symbiotes' alien tongue. They use the remainings of their dead sister to create a symbiotic dragon of mass destruction named as World-Killer, and Venom, made to be the perfect warrior to spread their darkness over the galaxy.
Season 3[]
After Venom possesses Max Modell, he uses his Matter Transport Portal to allow his sisters to invade Earth. Afterwards, they are confronted by Spider-Man and his team, who says that they wouldn't take their planet. The sisters laugh and Scream claims that they weren't there to take it, but to destroy it. Confused, Spidey asks why and Mania tells they that they were unworthy of their bond. Venom commands his sisters to attack, which angers Scream, who declares that no one tells them what to do. Shortly after, the Spiders and the sisters clash, while Venom attempts to have his revenge against Spider-Man. He is stopped by Scream, who tells him to get the World-Killer while they would take care of the team. After Spidey leaves, Spider-Girl fights against Mania, who easily defeats her along with the other sisters. They later on go after the Symbiote Seed.
While searching at Horizon High's tech graveyard, Grady Scraps sends his robot to get the seed, much to the sisters' annoyance. After the World-Killer invades earth, Scorn uses her shapeshifting abilities to steal it. The sisters power up the seed and launch it to the symbiote dragon. While Spidey fights against Venom, Mania watches in delight stating that the poor humans were attempting to fight back. The Spider-Team arrives and distract the sisters while Max regains the control of his body and destroys the seed from the World-Killer, causing a massive explosion that kils the World-Killer, Venom, and the Symbiote Sisters.
Appearance[]
Mania is a black symbiote and the smallest member of the Symbiote Sisters. She has a slender, thin body type with long limbs resembling an arachnid animal. She has six eyes on each side of her face, spiky protrusions on her head, white markings on her neck, hips and a white symbol on her chest. She has spikes protuding from her forearms, shins and has pointy feet. Mania is also sometimes shown with two or six arms due to her host's spider physiology.
Personality[]
Mania has a joyful, child-like personality and often repeat words in a singsong tone. Carla Jeffery, her voice actress, refers to her as "a little maniac". She is also shown to disregard the human race, considering them as worthless due to the fact that they rejected their bonding.

- This is the animated debut of the Mania symbiote.
- Mania's design used on The Secret History of Venom is quite different compared to the one used on the actual series. Besides possessing a similar body type to her sisters, she has curly hair, two eyes rather than six, an actual mouth and more white areas around her body.
- Mania's host was briefly seen after Max destroyed the Symbiote Seed. They have blue skin, wear a dark grey coat, a dark grey mask and have a pair of arms on each side of their body.
