Mary Jane Watson is a student at Midtown High School. She is the mascot of the school's football team, the Midtown Tigers and wore a tiger mascot costume.
In Season 3, Mary Jane's appearance from season 1 was retconned for she and Peter meet for the first time in the episode Amazing Friends after she and her aunt were invited to the Parker Household my May Parker.
In Maximum Venom, she invited by Peter to attend to a dance at Horizon High to celebrate Max Modell's rehiring Following the Spider-Team's final confrontation with Venom and the Symbiote Sisters Peter and Mary Jane appear to be starting a romantic relationship.

Mary Jane Watson is a girl who lives next door to Peter Parker's house.

During a football game, Peter learned from Flash Thompson that Mary Jane had become the new mascot. When Spider-Man needed sonic vibrations to remove Venom from Flash, he asked the crowd to make as much noise as they could whilst Mary Jane encouraged them.

Personality[]
Mary Jane has an easy-going and confident personality. Despite Peter's awkward behavior when May first introduced him, she didn't call out his weird actions, and seemed to be having a good time. She is shown to have an interest in sports, as seen in Spider-Man Unmasked, and often helps Peter with friendly advice.
She also appears to be a fan of basketball for she is seen playing it most of the time she meets up with Peter.

in Season 3 Web of Venom, she was mentioned by Peter's Aunt May that she move in to live with her Aunt Anna telling Peter to get to know her.
Meeting For the First Time[]

May Started introducing Peter to Many Jane Watson
MJ and Peter met for the first time in 'Amazing Friends' and despite his awkward and strange behaviour, she didn't seem to be weirded out or disturbed by it. In this way MJ is quite unique to others who have met Peter as she just went along with it.

In Spider-Man Unmasked, Mary Jane helped Peter to realize that he may not have explained his reasons for keeping his secret (being Spider-Man) to Gwen and Anya in the way he meant too.

In Maximum Venom episode, when Peter mentioned to MJ that he needed to find a date for his high school dance, while she was outside the front playing basketball she asked him to take her.
When Venom was revealed to have been possessing Max Modell Mary Jane Tried to get Peter to leave Horizon with her and she ended up surprised by his bravery of wanting to protect the school and his classmate Before evacuating herself she given him a kiss on the cheek for luck. Later on Mary Jane and Peter have the dance that was interrupted at the party.Mary Jane said that despite alien invasion it was still a nice her optimism and reminding that they had a future to look forward to made Peter realise that he wasn't ready to leave his friends and family behind to become an Avenger. Mary Jane was confused on what Peter meant by her being right (about their whole future being ahead of them) and was caught by surprise when Peter gave her a kiss on the cheek making blush just as he did when first seeing her in Amazing Friends.

- This is the first time in a Spider-Man animated series that Mary Jane does not play a main or supporting role.
- Mary Jane made her full debut in Maximum Venom.
- For unknown reasons her appearance in the episode Venom was retconned from the show continuity Despite Peter knowing her calling her by name in the episode the two have no clue who each other is in th episode Amazing Friends.
- MJ is voiced by actress Felicia Day who, funnily enough like her character, is a red-head.
- Peter does has a crush on Mary Jane.
- They also confirmed that Mary Jane will challenge Peter in ways his friends from Horizon do not.
- When he first found out she was the mascot, Peter yelled out, 'Go get 'em, tiger!', which is a reference to MJ's catchphrase from the comics she would often say to Peter before he went out as Spider-Man to fight crime.
- Many fans have also expressed that they do not want Mary Jane to gain powers especially from a symbiotie during Maximum Venom as to not repeat the previous series.
