Adrian Toomes, also known as Vulture and later the Goblin King, is a major antagonist in the 2017 Marvel's Spider-Man series, serving as a major antagonist in Season 1, as the main antagonist of the Goblin War arc in Season 2 and as a cameo antagonist in Season 3.

He was a former teacher at Osborn Academy for Geniuses.


History[]

Adrian Toomes was an employee at Horizon High, but he was fired for stealing equipment. Sometime after that, Toomes donned his flight suit, calling himself the Vulture, and attacked Midtown High to steal Vibranium, but was stopped by Spider-Man.

A few weeks later, Adrian was released from prison thanks to Norman Osborn, who asked him to be a teacher in his new Academy for Geniuses and use his tech to create a Vulture Force. By the time of Stark Expo, there were already at least 3 Vulture Suits.

Adrian is a tall lanky man with brown hair and green eyes.

Adrian's Vulture suit is black and green with wings and a vulture like helmet with an orange visor and caller that produces sonic screams.

When he is not in the suit, Adrian is wearing a white shirt under a white lab coat, brown pants, and dark brown shoes.

Vulture can be very impatient and often argues with others.

  • He shares some similarities with Vulture from the MCU, as they both have mechanical wings, both sue a mask for scanning and both became first major opponents to Spider-Man.
  • By the end of the second season, he becomes the Goblin King, the leader of the Goblin Nation. His armor looked quite similar to that of Green Goblin from the first Spider-Man movie by Sam Raimi.
